Privacy Policy — ADHD Tasks

Effective 17 August 2026 · Applies to the ADHD Tasks Android app

The short version: ADHD Tasks stores everything on your device. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no third-party tracking. This page even loads without contacting any third party.

Who we are

ADHD Tasks is developed by MC0 Software, based in New South Wales, Australia. For anything privacy-related, contact us at privacy@mc0software.com.

Data we collect

None. The tasks, notes, reminders, and settings you create in ADHD Tasks are stored only in the app's private storage on your device. They are never transmitted to us or to anyone else. We have no servers holding your data, no user accounts, and no way to see what you put in the app.

Permissions the app uses

The app does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, or files outside its own storage.

Third-party services

ADHD Tasks contains no advertising, no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, and no tracking of any kind. The app makes no network connections in normal use.

Device backups

Like most Android apps, your app data may be included in your device's own backup system (such as Google's Android backup to your Google Account) if you have backups enabled. That process is operated by Google and controlled by your device settings, not by us — you can exclude the app or disable backups in your device's backup settings, and Google's handling of backup data is covered by Google's privacy policy.

Data retention and deletion

Because your data lives only on your device, you are in full control of it. Deleting items in the app removes them from the app's storage, and uninstalling the app removes all of its data from your device (and, over time, from any device backups per your backup settings). There is nothing for us to delete on our side, because we hold nothing.

Children

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children — the app collects no personal information at all.

Security

Your data is protected by your device's own security (screen lock, encryption, and app sandboxing provided by Android). Because nothing is transmitted, there is no data in transit or on external servers to secure.

Australian privacy law

We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles to the extent they apply. If you have a privacy concern, contact us first at the address above; you may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app changes how data is handled — for example, an optional feature that syncs data between family members' devices — we will update this policy before that version is released, and the change will be noted in the app's update notes. The effective date above always reflects the current version.
